
Patricia Cooper serves as our Control Room Director, Switcher and Living Wisely Correspondent.
She is an elementary school technology coordinator and reading teacher for the Prince George’s County Public School system. For the past three years, she has directed the student-operated, closed-circuit television studio, WDEB-TV. She has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University, Washington D.C. Her professional experience includes stints as a News Writer and Associate Producer for CNN, and as a news editor with WTOP-AM Radio. She has also freelanced on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show and edited This is My Child newsletter. In her spare time, Patricia enjoys sewing and crafting and she is well known for her custom-made Black Rag dolls. Married for 24 years, Patricia and her husband live in Bowie, Maryland with their two beautiful daughters.

Sylvia serves as Assistant Organizer, Voice Over Talent and Actress.
Sylvia is a talented Voice Over Artist and Actor with years of experience. Her beautiful New Zealand accent just makes you smile. She is currently performing on stage for the Baltimore Opera in Madame Buttlerfly.

Donald Brooks, Director
Donald is an incredible talent who has won awards for writing and directing. including the Scripps Broadcasting award for his movie, Without A Doubt which aired in February of 1996. In 1998 he won second place in the contest with his play Waiting To Explode. In 1999 he won first place again with Love, Rhythm, & Blues. That same year he transferred to Towson University from Morgan State University, where Donald studied screenwriting, to study film. In 2002 he won first place again with Down With The King making Donald the first three-time winner in the contest 20-year history.

Melanie Thigpen, Asst Organizer and Assoc. Producer, LW Correspondent
Melanie is the founder of Glory 2 God ministries which aims to use theatre, mime and dance to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is a talented producer bringing valuable insight to the LW team (check out her Mommy Minute).

Montressa Smith a.k.a. Monte, Living Wisely Poet. and Editor
Monte creates wonderful poetic verses which draws the viewer into a deeper appreciation for the meaning of the show.
